My Love: Two American Ballads
• SAB, some divisi; piano; English (Anglo-American folk song)
• 5'20". A very engaging set, steeped in Americana (The Riddle Song" and "Shady
Grove"). Creative, independent piano part brings a contemporary freshness to the
arrangements. Excellent writing for cambiata voices, as well as for the two treble lines.
Great set for middle school voices - or any treble choir!

Neapolitan Carol
• SATB; piano; Neapolitan, English (Trad Neapolitan carol; trans by composer)
• 2'30". Often known as “Carol of the Bagpipers,” this carol tells the story of the
starry night when Bethlehem was visited by three strangers from far away. Either
language option works. The arrangement preserves the original simplicity, supporting
it with an unobtrusive but independent accompaniment. Lovely addition to carol rep.
